Lyric Pick

                        Coldplay: Everything's not lost
When I counted up my demons
Saw there was one for every day
With the good ones on my shoulders
I drove the other ones away

So if you ever feel neglected
And if you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
Hoping everything's not lost

When you thought that it was over
You could feel it all around
And everybody's out to get you
Don't you let it drag you down

'Cos if you ever feel neglected
And if you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
Hoping everything's not lost

If you ever feel neglected
If you think that all is lost
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah
Hoping everything's not lost

Singing out
Oh, oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Everything's not lost

 So come on, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Come on, yeah
And everything's not lost

Oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
And everything's not lost

Come on, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Come on, yeah

Come on, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Come on, yeah
And everything's not lost

Sing out, yeah
Oh, oh, yeah
Come on, yeah
And everything's not lost

Come on, yeah
Oh, oh yeah
Sing out, yeah
And everything's not lost

General idea:
It is about a guy who lost his girlfriend and trying to keep remind himself that everything isn't lost. So he felt alone after his girlfriend had gone away. Everyday he count his bad feelings and wishing they go away, but he always feel down. He know everything isn't lost, but his heart feel empty.

Quote inferences:
"Everything's not lost." Title mean after you lost something important, it doesn't mean you lost everything else. You just lost one thing out of everything you have.
"When I counted up my demons." He keep having bad feelings and it was getting worst. He can't help himself, but move on.
"I drove the other ones away." He doesn't want to carry the bad feelings. He just went and do something about it.
"When you thought that it was over/You could feel it all around." After he lost his girlfriend, he thought his life was over. Every time he go somewhere, he realized his girlfriend isn't around anymore.
"Don't you let it drag you down." After you lost something mean very special to you, you don't want to let it to ruin your life. You just need to move on.

My name

My name is Michael Gray. I am many things in a lot of different ways. I want to talk about how people see me. People who know me very well like my family, they see me as a young man in a power wheelchair who is bright and funny. They see me as I am no different than anybody else in the world. There are other people who know me like my friends, they see me as a guy in a power wheelchair who is smart and happy. At school, most of them know me and they see me as popular (of course, not as popular as Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson), but still very popular. There are also some people who don't know me at all like the strangers on the street, they see me as a human being in a power wheelchair who has something wrong with him and not smart. They only see the outside of me. When you see some people in a wheelchair that you don't know, you immediately think they aren't normal. That isn't always true. Once you get to know them, then you will start to realize they are normal from the inside. When I am around little children and they don't know me, they just stare at me for very long time. It makes me mad.Wouldn't you be? It drives me nut. I just want to turn invisible and that would be epic. I do understand why they stare at me for very long time, but still it makes me mad because I don't like to be stare at. It makes me to feel uncomfortable. I do like people who aren't afraid to come and talk to me. I enjoy it and it helps them to know me better. Also it helps me to get to know them better. People see me in different ways than others, but I believe my name is the way I am.
